Per Executive Order from Judge Greene, McCreary County is currently under a complete burn ban with no burning permitted at any time until further notice, despite the typical fire seasons from October 1 to December 15 and February 15 to April 30. Anyone caught Burning after this notice on April 13, 2026 or warning given will be fined anywhere from $50 to $500 Fine and court cost per Violation! Updates as they come through
